Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CGVizStudio ("we", "us", or "our"), operating TalkOfYou ("Service"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and country. We store a hashed version of your password and never store it in plain text.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including projects created, keywords configured, mentions discovered, drafts generated, and replies published.

Social Account Data

When you connect social media accounts for publishing, the sign-in credentials are entered directly into isolated browser sessions on dedicated nodes. We do not store your social media passwords on our servers.

Public Content

The Service scans publicly available content on supported platforms (YouTube, Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, Hacker News) to find conversations relevant to your product. This content is publicly accessible and not collected from private accounts.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including scanning, draft generation, and publishing.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, account notifications).
  • To monitor and improve the Service's performance and reliability.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. AI Processing

TalkOfYou uses third-party AI services to generate draft replies. When generating a draft, we send the public post content and your product description to the AI provider. We do not send your personal account information, email, or password to AI services. AI-generated drafts are stored in our database and are only published after your explicit approval.

4. Data Sharing

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI providers).
  • Third-party platforms when publishing approved replies on your behalf.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics services that track you across websites.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), rate limiting, and access controls. Social media credentials are handled in isolated browser environments and are never stored on our application servers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records). Publicly scraped content may be retained for service quality purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.

10. Children's Privacy

TalkOfYou is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
